Hi, I’m Kayla Sox — and I’ve spent the last few years building dashboards, cleaning data, and learning how to turn messy spreadsheets into clear stories that help people make better decisions.
It didn’t start in a fancy office or with perfect data. It started late at night — me, a laptop, a half-broken CSV, and way too much coffee. Over time, I realized I wasn’t just building reports — I was building clarity. Every project taught me something new about how people actually use data, what makes a chart click, and where tools help (or get in the way).
I’ve built dashboards for a retail chain, a health clinic, a SaaS startup, and even a hockey club that needed visual heat maps for ticket sales. Each one came with new lessons — about communication, structure, and patience.
This site is where I share those lessons:
what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what I’m learning next.
Because real progress doesn’t come from perfect data — it comes from persistence, iteration, and a willingness to try again.
If you work with data, build reports, or just love learning how things work behind the scenes, this space is for you.
Welcome to my story — and maybe a little bit of yours, too.
